Władysławowo is located in the northern part of the Kashubian Coast, on the Baltic Sea in the north, and on the Bay of Puck in the south-east. The westernmost patch of the town is situated on the Słowińskie Coast, and the Chałupy part of the town on the Hel Peninsula.

The town includes several settlement units, which are housing estates or former villages incorporated into Władysławowo. The parts of the town: Cetniewo, Chałupy, Chłapowo, Jastrzębia Góra, Karwia, Lisi Jar, Ostrowo, Poczernino, Rozewie, Tupadły. The inhabitants also distinguish the Housing Estate of the 1000th Anniversary and Sosnowo.

Władysławowo is characterised by extensive tourism infrastructure. Its situation on the open sea and the Bay of Puck, and near the Coastal Landscape Park is one of its tourist assets. In Władysławowo, there is a seaport located on the open sea, a part of which is the western breakwater, which functions as a tourist pier as well.

There are 15 bathing beaches in Władysławowo.

One of the attractions of the town is the Sowiński Funfair on Gen. Józef Haller Street, with an observation wheel and go-karts. One can also go for a mini-train ride on the road from Władysławowo to Jastrzębia Góra. The attractions for children include the Ocean Park with 1:1 scale models of most marine mammals. In bad weather, children can also go to the “Children’s Port” in Wojciech Pension, which is an indoor playroom with plenty of attractions for youngsters.

 

One of the promenades is the Avenue of Sports Stars with pavement stars presenting names of famous Polish and three foreign sportspeople. The promenade stretches out from the Reverend Merklein Street to the descent to the descent to the sea.

Several cultural events take place every year in Władysławowo. Since 1973, on Thursdays throughout the holidays, the Summer Organ and Chamber Concerts have been held at the church in Władysławowo. The performers include instrumentalists, vocalists and bands from all over the world. Władysławowo was the place of origin of the band Nocne Szczury, which played as the first punk band at the Jarocin Festival in 1980. On Sportowa Street, the Sea Fair is held in the summer season.

In Władysławowo, there is an Olympic Training Centre “Cetniewo” of the Central Sports Centre. It features clay tennis courts and an indoor tennis court, sports grounds, a swimming pool, and a sports equipment rental shop. On 30 May 2012, the only “Ocean Park” in Poland was opened on Żwirowa Street in Władysławowo. The biggest attraction of the Ocean Park is a 34-metre blue whale and tens of other marine mammals, fish and other species, including the sperm whale, the whale shark, the great white shark, and the Atlantic giant squid. All the exhibits are life sized.
